Panamera Pricing

I've optioned out a descent Panamera Black/Creme Turbo. Price is $172,000.00 prox. You have to be f**king kidding me! If I'm not mistaken, you can buy a 2007 or 2008 Ferrari preowned 430 for that. Maybe a Spyder if you looked hard enough. What are they thinking? What other kinds of wonderful cars can you buy for $172k?????

Didn't know the prices were released... I would think the base car will start at 60k and work up to 90k.... This is a new product with no history. The economy is in the tanks...

NS. I cut down the options and got it to $149k. You can almost get one to $200k if you do ceramics and the other stuff. Porsche is calling dealers to place orders to see what the market is like before actually allowing orders to be placed. I think pricing is a mistake in these times at those numbers. Doesn't matter whether some of us are willing to overpay or not.

This car should be priced like a comparably equipped Cayenne. Anything more is just pure Porsche greed.

I guess they wanted to steal some of the market from the S65 AMG's. Porsche shoulda canned this idea. It's not worth the money to develope.

Anyone know the expect production numbers on this car? If it's very few, like 10 , then they'll be ok.

J/K, maybe 1500 would mean the people that will buy anything with a Porsche badge or spend money on the newest thing will snap them all up. This thing better perform like the dickens or it's dead in the water, and may be anyways.

Thought I might be in the market for one after my M6 is retired - I assumed $120-$130 for a TT, not $170+. Not for my money - a patient buyer could find a 2008 CTT and a 2007-2008 997 TT for that price range.

wow, pretty ridiculous... like others have said, who knows how this car will do with the horrible economy and it's outrageous price.

I stopped by by my dealer today and configured a 4S and ended up at $128K. I need to see it in the metal before I pull the trigger. I was told the official launch will be in October.

I realize that they're trying to go after the Mercs, Maserati's and the bentley's, but at this price they're going to have a problem. I think they're going to be sitting on dealer lots for quite longer than anticipated. I bet few will go for sticker and even fewer for over sticker.

I won't be paying sticker, nor a little under. It will be way under or I won't have one. Why order one otherwise? Just makes no sense in today's times, and I don't see a change when these cars roll off the boats.
