CTT or Panny 4s
CTT or Panny 4s
I have a 2006 CTT and love it, really have no complaints other than it now has 60k miles on it.
I may consider trading it later this year for lease trade in Panny 4S or something, has anyone made the move from the CTT to a Panny, thoughts, etc
Thanks

I'd say the two are at most cousins, but by no means siblings.
To me the CTT is probably the best handling SUV on the market, but my PTT is so much closer to my 997TT than any other 4 door I drove (and I owned both the E39 and the E90 M5s).
If you can give up the road perspective you get from the high seating of an SUV, I think the Panamera will seriously impress you.

All true, but there is the inevitable fact that for virtually equal dollars you can buy a Panamera 4S or the new Cayenne TURBO. This is my dilemma. My next vehicle is likely going to be one of these two, but which one? The new Cayenne is supposedly significantly improved in terms of overall dynamics, but the Panny will will have the handling advantage and it just has such a presence on the road when you see one.
Guess I'll have to drive them back to back.

Not to be prejudiced or anything, but there is one fact not mentioned here so far. The Cayenne, both the original and the current one, are co-developed with Volkswagen and Audi. They have a lot of influence on the design and compromises inherent in the final assembly of the vehicle. VW even furnishes the motor for the V6. The Panamera is all Porsche. It was designed and is now built completely independently from VW and Audi. In fact, now that the companies have more or less merged VW and Audi and even Bentley are covetously eyeing the Panamera as the base for the next Bentely and Audi A8. The technology in the centralized weight concentration, getting lighter as it progresses from the middle to the front and back (an advantage in handling) and its use of light-weight, but strong materials in the chassis with no sacrifice to stiffness, is nothing short of ground-breaking.
