What am I missing...why would the 'Ring time of a STi have anything to do with a Panamera? You take a tiny Subaru that barely squeezes in 4 people, give it 300+hp and put some race tires on it, then try to compare it to a massively luxurious, spacious & powerful Porsche that weighs 1000 lbs more and try to gloat about a 1-sec differential on the 'Ring?

I have better things to do with my time...

Obviously you didn't read it. The panamera had the record for the worlds fastest production sedan around the ring.

Read mine again...I did read it, and referenced the 1 second difference...you might want to pay better attention

 

I don`t get the news, Porsches are always fastest around the Ring.
No matter what category.
Cayenne Turbo, 911 GT2 RS, Panamera Turbo, 956K (fastest time ever on the Ring). They all are current record holders on the Ring.

 

I think I'll put my Panny up for sale to buy a "subie" b/c afterall it is faster around the Ring.....
