Panamera Turbo Side Slats

A few people on the forum have recommended upgrading the side slats/intakes on a Black Panamera 4 to the silver ones that come with the Turbo for some contrast. Does anyone have any info as to what is involved in swapping them out and where the best place to order them from is?

Thanks in advance.

I ran across these at Suncoast. Are they relatively simple to swap out?

We have done a few sets here for local customers.

* Car should be up in the air
* Wheels come off
* Remove fender liners
* Remove washer bottle on passenger side
*** They then pop out =)

It is a cool upgrade, and we have sold a couple of sets over the site. Really pops on a black car. If you have questions about availability you can always give us a shout!!

I did it with mine and it does add a nice look. Local dealer charged about $275 to do it. Not sure it should have taken that much time (or cost that much), but was worth it to me.

Thanks Suncoast for making the part so readily available!

That's actually not that bad, my dealer quoted me $475 for the labor...

I was told something like 4 hours of labor. I passed for the time being.

i performed the magic on my wife's black 4S without removal, wedging sheets of stiffer copy paper all around the faux vent and then carefully taping it off. I shot it with Griots aluminized paint and it came out perfect. You would never know it's plastic, it looks aluminum. The teeth on the faux outlet (like the one pictured) are not as long as the turbo's (it's a different part) but most people don't know. It cost me nothing but about 1 hour of time.

I had the dealer swap mine out b/f I picked the car up. The dark grey vents just wouldn't have looked right on an aqua blue Panamera especially with the brushed HRE wheels. From memory I think it cost ~$250-300 for the install plus the cost of the vents.

I did it as well. Dealer did not charge me for install. Cost of vents was under $200. Really like the way that they look.
