So I put my car on a truck today and it should get to Fabspeed's shop either tomorrow or Wednesday. They are going to be installing a full exhaust system, intake, and software tuning. If all goes as planned I should have the car back middle to end of next week. I'm stoked to see (and hear) the results... I'll post more when it returns

 

Nice. I cant even get my car on a truck in a week, much less turned around in 10 days. Those trucking guys are slow as hell. Unless, of course, it is Fabspeed's truck.

 

Interested to hear your feedback of the system afer install. Please report back on the sound and whether there is drone or not. Congrats. I'm sure each passing day feels like a year..

My 996 has a Fabspeed GT-2 exhaust and yes there is quite the drone. I personally like it, but the wife hates it. She has put a set (actually three sets) of ear plugs in the car for when she rides in it.

I have tried to get her to make this something she does in a car whenever she rides with me, but so far she only has them in the 996.

 

I hear ya. I had a Fabspeed in my 996tt and it was drone city. That is why I am curious to see if they corrected that for the Panamera systems.

 

It wasn't a FabSpeed truck, I went with InterCity Lines and was impresses with the time and service of the trip up... It arrived at FabSpeed today

I just hope it makes it back as quick.
