Another Panamera TT gets the EVOMSit treatment @ SharkWerks
This 2011 basalt black on black Panamera Turbo came into us for a couple of routine and choice modifications. On tap was the EVOMSit power upgrade module as well as the TechArt PDK paddle conversion.
First up is the installation of the EVOMSit plug-in module which installs simply into the engine bay:

A before shot of those cumbersome thumb buttons on the steering wheel:

Removing the wheel and performing the wiring and conversion:

And installed with the up/down paddle shift kit:

Side view:

Armed with an additional 50-80hp (mode dependent) this Panamera TT is ready to head home:

In terms of performance and driftbox data here's an interesting set of parameters that EVOMS deduced from their data:

I am very niave about this but why do magazines like (road&track, car&driver, motortrend) show much better 0-60, 0-100 and 1/4mile times then we get at the drag strip or when using our V-box's. For example the PTT got 3.3sec to 60 in Road&track mag and 1/4 mile in 11.3, but your texas mile times are more then 1 second slower. So what gives, when I see 60mph times in magazines should I not believe them anymore. Cant blame the driver because its hard to mess up launch control.
The same thing goes for the 911 TT's which are 2.6 for the TTS and 2.9 for TT in the mags but when guys here are posting their results they are usually about 1 sec slower.
