Map Nav PCM updates?

Has anyone investigated whether Porsche will offer map or nav updates for our Panameras? Seems like a 160k car in my case would be able to have up to date maps.

Greetings for Kuwait, I am an American trying to make his way in the middle east. I recently purchased a Autologic PORSCHE diagnostic, And today I received a 2010 Panamera, that was purchased in the USA the sent to Kuwait, well all the nav and PCM is set for boca raton flordia. I scanned the vehicle to change the region settings but the error I received, was a null function error,
the owner of the car would like maps and if possible arabic support for the PCM , and I would need the codes to activate the software for the PCM , #2 Greenland south Africa and middle east,
my first request can you please piont me in the direction to obtain the necessary maps, and second request, where can I get the codes for activation, I have a computer to do this but no codes..
thanking you in advance for you assistance.
best regards

I am no tech and thus my answer may be useless and naive to you, but I believe the car should recognize where it is automatically if the car is in contact with satellites. My car came 2000km in a boat, and it works fine, of course florida-kuwait is more. I have had a bmw and mb, where the unit that hooks you to the satellites is broken and the car doesnt know where it is. I think u need to go to a dealer. A 2010 still has new car warranty worldwide. Have you tried disconnecting the battery to zero things? Worked for my bmw once. Dont know about the arabic support, have you checked the language list in settings?

I need to add Turkey map, does anybody know how to find it ? Do you think is it possible to copy it from another panamera that has it installed?

Thanks

I think the only thing you can do is buy the map from your Porsche dealer.

Selamlar,

Ben amerika'da yasiyorum, gecen ay 2011 map'lerini yuklettim burda serviste. 5 DVD'lik bir set geliyo North America Maps diye onla yukluyolar. Disc 1'i takar takmaz sistem update etmeye basliyor. Internetten bile imkansizdir cunku Turkiye haritasini kimse internete yuklemez henuz. Good luck

Guys sorry I wrote in Turkish, I didn't think there would be too much of a demand for Turkish Map Nav info I basically said it's not possible to copy from other panamera and its best to go to dealer and buy.
