Obvious question: how do you reboot an iPod? I'm not being a wise guy, I'm expecting to have this same problem in 2 days...

 

To reboot, you press and hold the central round button and the button immediately beneath it together. After several seconds, the screen will go dark and then show the apple symbol, reboot has launched. Wait a few seconds and you are good to go.

 

Thanks bud! I had my PTT for a total of about 14 hours before I dropped it off to get the clear bra put on, and the radar and Techart paddle shifter conversion kit installed... Not enough time to even plug in the iPod! But I get it back tomorrow and will start playing around with it then...
