First time Porsche Owner....

Have a 3-week old Panny Turbo and the Min Oil light came on this am. A bit spooked and went straight to dealer to see what's up.

They topped it off by a quart and said it's typical? At least it was free, but still curious if this is normal.

I've had to top mine off twice in 2 months of ownership. There is a service advisory about this according to my dealer....

I think it is normal for you to have to add oil periodically, this was one of the strangest things to me coming out of japanese cars, but I was told most german cars (especially high performance ones) do burn oil and will require periodic filling.

Audi let me take a R8 White Spyder overnight to see how it would commute, etc. An awful fun car to drive and EVERYONE notices that car

All said, I'm glad the R8 didn't fit in the garage. The Panny Turbo is an awesome driving experience....Every day

Thanks for the heads up. Sure glad there's the min level warning system . A quick pop in to dealer and out in 10mins. Not so bad
