Rear Interior Lighing Package, is it worth adding?

I am ordering my Porsche Panamera and is wondering if this option is worth to add...

Can anyone comment on this option? Does it do any good to your vehicle?

Thanks!

I had the same question when I ordered mine - bottom line don't think it's worth it, probably do some after market LED interior light bulbs exchange more cost effective

I love these questions: Is a Porsche option worth the money? Certainly the performance related are worth it.

Beyond that, it is pure opinions.

I have the rear lighting package, came with the car, I did not order it. It is a nice option if anyone uses the backseat area. Very elegant overhead light, similar to the oval in the front seat overhead and many spot lighted areas in the rear seats.

If it is worth $3000 for a louder exhaust that does not improve performance, then the rear lighting package is a bargain.

Cheers, JohnnyB

I say nope. I changed my bulbs to LED all through the inside and it is quite nice, but I dont need more light in the back.

Do you mind posting some pictures of the LED conversion. I've seen some cayennes with newer style LED inside but not a Panamera yet. Thanks
