Cat ByPass for Panamera Turbo

When I had my 997TT I went straight from the Turbo to the muffler without any cats and the difference was immense compared to stock cats.

I know FabSpeed has high flow cats at a staggering $3000, which is a fair price including the HJS cats (I think), no complains there.

The Cayenne's have a "secondary cat bypass" for cheap and this is where the power comes in. I guess they have "secondary" cats that can be bypassed without any CEL.

1 - Do the pannies have secondary cats? This way I do not need to worry about ECU upgrade

2 - Does any vendor offer catless pipes for our cars?

Thanks in advance.

Hey MIA997TT, we can do full catless down pipes for the Cayenne or Panamera, but you will need to do the Flash in order to keep the CE light off. I just did Catless system for a Panamera customer and he said the power gains are awesome, but it is loud.
thanks,

If anyone would like Panamera Twin Turbo catbypass pipes- straight pipes to replace the stock main catalytic converters Fabspeed Motorsport can build you a set.

Assume that we will build a set of catbypass pipes/ straight pipes for any automotive application that is on our website.

For example, Fabspeed Motorsports builds high performance replacement headers with 200 cell HJS sports race cats for example Porsche 986, 987, 987.2, 997.2, and 997 GT3/GT3RS cars. Fabspeed also builds these headers with no catalytic converters for customers worldwide. So if our website shows any part or parts with catalytic converters just email Alex and or anyone on our staff and we will build you a system with or without catalytic converters. The aforementioned headers are being installed by Pro-racers, DE PCA POC and spec Boxster racers worldwide.

When I had my 2006 Cayenne Twin Turbo S..........I was tempted to install 200 Cell HJS main catalytic converters and or run it with NO cats. I heard from Todd at Evo the car makes alot more power with either configuration versus stock OEM 800 cell catalytic converters.

Fabspeed also has 2ndary catalytic converter bypass pipes with hangar support rods for all models of Cayenne V6, V8, Twin Turbos as well from 2004 to 2012 models.

From aircooled to water cooled we have Porschefiles covered.

question about this CEL light - is it just the light or the car goes into some kind like 'limp' mode when CEL indication is lid ?

It's a Check Engine Light for Catalyst Efficiency which does not affect how the car drives. We offer 02 Sensor Spacers to prevent triggering that CEL, or it can always be shut off via ECU Tuning. Catbypass Pipes with a tune picks up awesome power (+/- 100hp) on the 970 Turbo platform, along with a much more aggressive exhaust note.

Feel free to PM me with any questions or for forum pricing!

Thanks for explanation Alec, I just wanted to know what to expect till I'll get ECU tuning after catless downpipes installation. I do have Vibrant J-Style 02 extensions/spacers (p/n 11619) ready as well as I don't want to shut off second O2 sensors.
