Angry Panamera doesn't want to unlock the doors??? Frustrated?

It seems like the panam never wants to unlock the other doors very quickly or easily?? I have to press the unlock button a bunch of time to unlock the other doors (while passengers get impatient and are tugging on the handles). Is anyone else having this problem? Any solutions?

its designed that way, the owners manual says the best way to operate this is press unlock one time first wait one second and press 2 times quickly then all doors unlocked

with the ignition off all doors unlock. But I agree - with the ignition on I agree that I cannot figure out the logic of the doors

i am pretty sure u can change the setting on the locks from the steering wheel console coz I did it with mine. Click on vehicle menu on the dash and it should be there. if I am not mistaken its called the comfort entry or something like that??

Another possibility is the battery in the key fob needs to be replaced. I had similar issues solved by a new battery.

It's most likely that you try to unlock it in densely populated area with too many wires or wireless signals around. I live in Boston and happens to me all the time. I've once tried a good 30 minutes to unlock the car. Easiest way is to point the key towards the back of the car. Near the trunk, rear windshield or the opposite side of the gas filler cap (driver's side I mean). It seems that the sensors are in the back so it's easier to pick up signal if you're closer to the rear of the car. I know this from my Range Rover, it used to be the same exact case. Hope this helps

The owners manual is your friend. Just change the setting so that all doors unlock instead of just the driver's door with one push.

Are you kidding me? The section called "locking" in the car's menu allows you to choose just the driver's door or all doors to unlock with the remote (or, in the case of Porsche Entry and Drive, when touching the door handle) and also to set when you want the doors to automatically lock when you drive off. Didn't anybody look?

It takes less time to look it up and do it than it does to type out the complaint on this forum.

As a former factory rep for VW-Porsche-Audi, one of my favorite unexpressed thoughts to buyers was, "RTFM!" :-)

Unlocking

There is a setting under the vehicle/settings/locking option. I was frustrated over this and fixed it last night...SO much easier.
