That was a very positive write up - but as noted its short, but to the point.

Car is so quiet it will/can lull you into thinking your not going very quickly

Actually the increased noise/exhaust note was one of the reasons I picked the GTS. With the higher HP, better breathing N/A engine, sports exhaust and the new 'sound symposer', it's definitely louder than any of the other models from both the inside and out. I do like the fact that you can switch off the sound with a button for quiet hwy cruising.

I also couldn't stand the thought of driving in the F10 M5 with a pre-recorded engine sound piped in through the speakers.

Ditto that! The sport design exterior elements, beefed up HP, taut suspension and red calipers are what initially attracted me. The exhaust/symposer duo made it a slam dunk! Just placed my order last week
