"Best" Aftermarket Panamera TT Exhaust

I am shopping three aftermarket PTT exhausts and rate them simply on my auditory preference irrespective of price as follows:

1. Techart
2. AWE Track
3. Tubi

Factoring price AWE goes to the top but the Techart systems are also on sale at a number of vendors.

There has been a number of discussions regarding PTT exhaust but nothing definitive....what are the OPINIONS out there?

What are you looking for out of an exhaust system?

1. Performance
2. Sound
3. Sound adjustability
4. Catted or catless (if full system, see no 1)
5. Tip design
6. Weight reduction

The Tubi is a pair of mufflers only and retains valve adjustment. The AWE is a full cat-back. The TechArt is also only a pair of rear mufflers and do not retain the OE valves.

It seems there are a few systems you are not considering:

1. REMUS (cat-back, resonated, with valve, made in Austria)
2. SuperSprint (modular full system, can be fitted with stock rear mufflers, unresonated, made in Italy)
3. Capristo (resonated cat-back with Capristo valve system, made in Germany)
4. IPE Innotech (unresonated cat-back or full system with IPE valves, made in Taiwan)
5. Eisenmann (rear race mufflers, no valves, made in Germany)

In order to get a proper aftermarket sound with a Turbo, you need to look into a cat-back, that if possible, has a unresonated mid pipe. A pair of rear mufflers will likely won't suffice, the turbos will muffle the sound tremendously.

Let us know!

Gable,

Thank you for considering AWE Tuning in your search.

I just sent a "Touring" version to a client of mine in Georgia. He said to me that if I have any potential clients that want input from a third party, he would be glad to discuss.

He too wanted sound and peformance, but also did not want to upset the Mrs.

What also makes him special is that he removed a competitors system that was too loud and fell in love with our product.

Email me direct and I can make the connection.

is there a reason you havent considered Fabspeed? we were one of the first to release a system for the PTT and have had excellent results with it! We offer everything from catalytic covnerters to x-pipes and mufflers. I will send you a message with some pricing for you to consider.

Which exhaust has the OEM button intact and sounds fierce in openmode but still civil in closed mode?

Price is not an option!

REMUS and SuperSprint.

Option 1: SuperSprint full system (Performance + Sound).
• Picture:
• Sound clip:
• Specifics: Revised downpipe with HJS 100 CPSI catalytic converters placed further downstream for optimal performance gains. Unresonated mid pipe and sport or race mufflers (valves are not re-used).

You can retain the stock mufflers as well to keep the valve system. Many of our customers go this route to keep the “Porsche” signature tips while improving performance, sound and retaining the stock valve system.

The HJS cats allow to use this system without a tune, it also won’t cause a check engine light. For optimal performance gains, combining this full system with a tune will net upwards of 80whp gains!
• Hand made in Italy and TUV approved
• Lifetime warranty
• Price: PM us

Option 2: REMUS cat-back system (sound)
Picture:
Sound clip:
• Specifics: This is a cat-back system with resonated mid pipe. It re-uses the stock vacuum valve system with the sport button.
• Made in Austria and TUV approved
• 3 years warranty
• Price: PM us

The REMUS Titanium or Stainless steel cat-back fits your criteria as well as the SuerSprint stainless steel full system (downpipes, catted front pipes, unresonated mid pipes) with stock rear mufflers and valve system.
