2012 panamera bose settings

i know the bose surround system is not too good.wondering if anyone will help with some decent settings.

The main suggestion I have is to set it to audiophile mode so it has a flat EQ curve. You can then add back +1 on the bass if you like. But without that mode, it sounds lousy to me, with excess muddy bass.

Is the Bose really that bad? I got it over the stock system since I figured it had to be much better. Plus I only listen to radio (I did get the HD/Sat option), so the Burmeister would have been way overkill.

Yes. I think the description when on that item talks about audiophile use.

In linear mode, it is not too bad. Much better than the stock system at least. The biggest issue is the bass is not a clean thump as much as I would like.

That's good to know - I'm not a bass fanatic so I'm ok with that problem.

i just got back and yes with linnear on and bass at +1 or 0 and 0 treble it`s not that bad.
i believe that surround sound should only be used when listening to a 5.1 surround disk
