Looks like yer gonna dig it!

I know it's all personal preference and all, but I'd get the thermal glass over the blinds. I'm also a huge fan of the adaptive cruise control...Burmester is essential!

Went skiing yesterday, was tripping out over how AWESOME my stereo was the entire drive!

But that's just me...

Thanks for your response. Thermal glass over the blinds hmm this is something to think about..I am not that found of the adaptive cruize control hell of a cost 2.5k. Burmester I would love to have this but 4K extra not sure if its worth that? on top the dealer keep insisting very few would get it

The adaptive cruise RULES! I use it constantly. As to Burmester, sounds like you are not a stereo nut like me...in which case probably not worth the money.

I would suggest retractable trunk cover. Skip the rear hatch window shade (didn't see it on the list but just reinforcing the point). I have thermal glass and rear side window shades.good if you have kids riding in the back.

Just a few thoughts from a 4S owner after 2 1/2 years.

I'd skip the painted skirts and rear fascia panel. Those are areas that take a lot of road wear and will be harder to maintain if painted.

I have the park assist withOUT the rear camera. GET THE CAMERA! The view to the rear of the Panny is pretty damned poor.

Wheels are a personal preference, but why the all season tires? They're a compromise, and not a terribly good one. I have 20" wheels (RS Spyders) with summer tires -- and a set of 18" S wheels with full bore snow tires for skiing. I swap the wheels in November and May.

I have the roll up side and rear blinds. I use them in the summer time to try to keep the car a little cooler, but honestly if they weren't there I wouldn't miss them. I wouldn't order them on my next car. (Probably a Panny GTS in another year.)

Although I don't have Alcantara in my Panny, I do have it in my Carrera GTS. I love it. Cooler in summer, warmer in winter, and always grippier. People complain that it doesn't look good after a while, but I've had it for almost 2 yrs now and I can't see any difference from brand new. I don't have the sport adaptive seats in the Panny, but I do have them in the GTS. I love them, and will get them in my next Panny.

I think the rest of the options you've listed are purely a matter of personal taste and if they work for you, you should get them.

Enjoy!!!!!

Guys thank you for all your great/valuable suggestions. Coming in clean I ordered the above combination on Sept 7 2012 and I wanted to know what experienced Porsche owners would think about my combination and where I stand. Most are my personal choices. The current code status is PDIMON since 12/22/12. Its probably waiting for the truck guys to pick it up at Davisville, RI port as it arrived on 12/18/12 on Shanghai Highway vessel. My dealer is in Edison NJ. Hoping to see it before this new year.... Dmoore what do u prefer buy a set of 20 inch winter set or summer for this year and run the all season for summer/winter.

All season tires should be named no season tires, buy proper winter wheels. Lane change assist is necessary in my opinnion, first car ever I have almost caused an accident, huge blind spot. Would trade it for the Burmester .

I really don't think all season tires work very well in true winter conditions. I'm not sure of your weather, but if you get significant snowfall and/or icy roads, I'd say safety first. I'd get a set of snow tires now (IF you can find them - they tend to be hard to find by now) and mount them right away. As far as I'm concerned, you can drive all seasons for summer if you need to. They don't perform as well, but they don't cause a safety issue the way all seasons do in true winter conditions.

My choice would be (a) get snow tires now; (b) when summer comes get a second set of wheels and mount summer tires. Failing that - (a) get snow tires now; (b) when summer comes, put on all seasons until winter. Then buy a set of wheels to put the snow tires on and swap with the seasons.

It's obviously a personal preference, but I'd stay away from getting the dials and chrono in Guards Red... think it'll get tiring after a while.
