Have you tried a different dealer by chance or called Porsche about it ? I've heard of the gear **** being replaced as far as the gas cap that is a first.

Try another dealer. I could understand them DK-ing you on the door handle...it looks like wear and tear from the picture...but not warranting the broken fuel door seems outrageous to me. Also try contacting Porshe directly. Good luck!

wear and tear

I am sorry for the trouble, but the wear and tear does look like what the others stated.

I have had a problem with a local dealer in Chicago making up some BS that something was not covered under warranty. I called porsche of America and suddenly the dealer called me and said, "we want to take care of you" which is a load of crap. Call PORSCHE OF AMERICA, they will help you and straighten out the dealer quicker than you or me can ever do so.

good luck

Are you sure the handle isn't simply dirty? Try using a proper leather cleaner and clean the entire interior. Then, use a leather conditioner such as Sonax Leather Foam. Maintain using Dashboard Cleaner.

Porsche build quality is very good...I know. I've owned them and work on them daily. You just gotta know what product to use and where. Unless you hold on the handle all the time, it shouldn't wear down like that. Which dealer you going to?

wear and tear with 18k mile , my understanding wear and tear mean things like belts disc brake etc.. but leather not lasting a year.. I drive the car daily its not only a weekend car.. but still I would expect the leather last longer ..

I happen to think that wear and tear includes leather and upolstery, but that's just my opinion. I really believe that you should make your points with another dealer though.

You could start the process with 1-800-Porsche. You're likely going to have to correspond with them either by letter or email...be sure to include photos.

Your in Cali buddy so shouldn't be that hard to find a dealer. Find a reason to go the bay and drop her off and get a free loaner while you enjoy SF. Your dealer is just being an ****
