Test drove a GTS today with the 20" all season tires. Besides the wonderful sound of the engine there was a distinct whine from the tires. Is this normal? Any difference compared to 19"? Have a 911 C4S w 19" and dont seem to hear that noise.... of course its much louder overall so may be masking the tire noise.

What your thoughts? Thanks in advance.

 

The 20" definitely have quite a road noise which is normal but I wouldn't call it a whine. It must be the whine coming from the AWD which all the AWD models suffer from. Do a search and you'll see this has been talked frequently here.
