Plasti dip my window trim... Cons?

My car came with chrome trim, and I'm getting bored of it. Have any of you guys done this?

I contemplated doing it on my CL but decided to have the chrome trim wrapped instead.. It turned out great.

I had mine wrapped (2010 PTT with chrome). Today I was at the dealer, side by side I cannot tell which is wrapped which is stock black from factory. Do a wrap.

Rather than taping off areas to prevent overspray you may as well just tape (wrap) the bits you want black. Much easier to remove also if you ever want to reverse it.

I am really interested in this idea of wrapping my chrome trim around my windows in black. Does anyone have any info on how or where to get this done? Is it a DIY project or something that you have get a professional to do? Thanks guys.
