2014 Panamera 4S

I'm in Canada thinking of buying a 2014 Panamera 4S. I have a short list of questions, hoping someone can assist.

1. Premium Package Plus states it includes 'Lane-Change-Assist / Blind-Spot-Detection'. Yet the salesperson I'm talking with says they have some coming with Premium Package Plus but doesn't think it includes the Lane Change / Blind Spot Detection feature.

From my understanding reading the Premium Plus Package contents on the Porsche website it does include the feature. Who is correct?

2. One option is buying outright, on a 2014 Panamera what discount can I expect if I negotiate well, 10, 8 or 6%?

3. Another possibility is trading our 2013 Cayenne in on the Panamera ... ouch the trade in value they're offering me hurts ... I know it always does with vehicles but I'm wondering if I'm better off selling in Auto Trader or if I'd really lose that much more by having my wife drive it another year. The lease rate at 8% isn't great either.

So many questions, but after driving a 2014 4S I really liked it, can't decide silver or black, both look great!

Thanks.

Are you consulting with a authorized Porsche only dealer or a multi brand car dealer. If you are skeptical about the offers do contact the Porsche customer care. I currently have no info on this but i will try and some up with something asap.

Premium Package Plus does include LCA as the website indicates- your dealer is wrong.

If you're thinking of choosing Platinum Silver Metallic (renamed Rhodium for 2014 I believe), note that it can appear gold-ish (almost champagne coloured) under some lighting. In the sunlight it looks pure silver though.

When my car arrived it was parked next to a GT Silver Metallic Panamera, and had I known Plat Silver would be like it is I'd have paid the $2500 additional for GT Silver

I agree that it is def not a "silver" tone when parked next to a true silver car. That said, its really just like platinum the metal, in that it has that dull "hue" to it that does not scream out "silver" I have it on my '13 GTS and just love the color (and saved the $3K) :-)
