Today I got to drive the new refreshed Panamera GTS - I had driven the turbo last month but wanted to see how I liked the GTS. Well, I loved it. I ordered one a few months ago, and just wanted to confirm my choice. Great engine, great exhaust noises, overall a very well-rounded car. Here is a pic of the car I drove. I have ordered black with the lack/red interior, with black wheels. Should be great.

I am looking forward - I had a 2011 Panamera Turbo and sold it in December of 2012 awaiting the new one (I had just gotten my 991 in June of 2012 so was not driving the Panamera too much). Anyway, I wasn't sure if I would miss the turbo power and after today's very spirited drive, I am very sure that I will be happy with the GTS. The new 420 hp engine is very lively, and lots of fun. Plus, the GTS is so much bang for the buck, especially as a 3rd car (we have a CTT as well).

How did the GTS compare to the Turbo?

Noticeably less power, noticeably more sound, slightly better handling when optioned up evenly (PDCC, PTV etc.).

I actually found the GTS more fun to drive, transmission mapping was really fun, noise is great, and the downshifts are terrific. Driving it in Sports Plus in the canyons in LA was a blast. Around town, totally fine. The turbo is great, but this as a package is more desirable to me, especially with the standard features on the GTS (carbon interior, exhaust, black pipes, etc...). I just want to hopefully be able to have the lower fascia painted body color as it is a bit mis-matched with the refresh. Apparently that option is coming, just hope it will be before mine is built (prefer to do at factory).

Congratulations! That is going to be amazing. Here is a local Turbo in Rhodium with a Marsala interior - you are going to love yours. It is very striking color on a Panamera.

Thanks this is very helpful...I have been trying to get a sense of this color and was a bit worried. The platinum silver looks great on the 13 pannys

Nice!! My old E90 M3 was this color. I ordered White with Espresso last week and waiting to hear when it will arrive. I hope I can get a December delivery but I have a feeling it will be January.
