New to this forum and just got into 2010 S4.
There are many things that I am getting used to in this car but...
Where and what do you guys use to hold your cell phone or place it.
I just don't see a best spot.

I throw it in the ugly cupholder on the console. That's the only use I get out of the thing.

 

thanks for your input, I have samsung Note 2 and this thing is too big for that.
I thought about getting a cup holder one but position is little off and also looks so bad. thinking about placing it on the vents or suction cup one on top of the cigarette lighter cover.

 

With bluetooth you can just stash the phone in the glove or console box. Around here you have to use the phone hands-free anyway.

 

In seattle we need to do that also but I use WAZE app to keep track of all the cops on the road. Not sure if you are familiar but it is much like trapster, where it get live update from other drivers and i like to keep my eyes on the updates.
(google just bought the company out)

I have a case on mine and lay it flat on the console between the cupholder and the shifter - the case has a little grip to it so it stays put nicely

Thanks for your input, just like what cvprez said, i placed it on the space between the shifter and cup holder. I just ordered a non slip pad from amazon to place my phone. Thanks for your input. Mike

Bought an air vent holder from Bestbuy - less than $20 and clips into LH center vent and is perfect position for iPhone 5 with Escort Smartradar app... Run the power cable from the USB socket in the console under the armrest, plug it in and squeeze the holder together to hold the phone...
