GTS on race track
I've been taking an older m3 to DEs. Would I be disappointed with the handling of the 2 ton beast. In other words should I stick the underpowered M3?
Im assuming you have never driven a panamera GTS? The handling of the panamera is superb.
This is a good video to get the drift of the car - ignore the foreign language.

Audi S8. Porsche Panamera Turbo. Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG. Porsche Panamera S. All of these sedans have the outrageous performance to back up their price tags, but which one is number one at the track?P
That's what Best Motoring sought to figure out, and for funsies, they tossed in a Porsche 911 4S to show how the super sedans would fare against a true sports car. Which one comes out on top in this rare Japanese car-free battle?

I bought a '14 GTS. It handles really well but not sure how the additional will feel at the track. From what I'm hearing it should be no problem. I have the PDCC.

Looks like GTS will be fun on the track. Cool Video!

I'll have to go ahead and take it to the DE. All the comments are very positive .

not gts but it should give you the impression of what it can do.

Did take my P4S for a DE and boy was it a hoot. I had 18's - I had kept on their rims for that purpose (have 20's turbo II for summer and 19's for winter but i digress...) The Porker/fat lady as we call her was surprisingly agile for her heft. I'm sure the GTS with ceramics is even way better. Do please give us feed back when you try it out - just remember, given her weight, your tire wear is very likely going to be higher than that on the Beemer
had a stock 6 out on track for a few sessions and had a blast blowing by fully prepped race cars. People thought I was in wrong run group …extremely capable car in sport mode and without even shifting…I let PDK do what it does (and oh yeah, turned off the traction control)

Finally took the GTS to the DE. What a blast! It does whatever it is commanded to do. The exhaust sound at full throttle is amazing A few of the cars I passed thought so as well.
There was concern about using up the brake pads. They smoked a bit (steel brakes) during the first two laps but there was plenty pad remaining (1/2 thickness) after 5 sessions.
Looks like I ended up with retreads at the end of the session. Indy cars left much rubber from a few days earlier.
