GTS Windshield Wiper Replacement

Morning Gents...had a quick question. I have had my '13 GTS for roughly 14 months, and am now in need of wiper replacement, as they are starting to "streak" the windows more than "clean" them.

Anyway, while I am always happy to support the dealership and buy Porsche parts, they quoted me $86 for the replacement set, driver and passenger...Seems DAMN expensive to me.

I assume these are simply parts that I can get at Tire Rack or at a local auto parts store?, or for some reason, is Porsche amazingly slick such that I need to get an OEM part only?

Thanks in advance

Cole

Cole we offer the OE and also the Bosch replacements. The Bosch are a considerable amount cheaper and still include the spoiler like the OE replacements, for more information Click Here.

Thanks for the support. Let us know how you like them compared to the OE ones.

Adding a note:

The front wipers for the 2014+ Panamera are now a different design than pre-facelift. They've switched to a beam style.

Part # is 97062890300

ECS: your website is showing compatibility between years. That might need updating...

I have since updated. Thank you pointing that out, if you ever see anything out of place feel free to let me know. I did look for any aftermarket alternatives, but unfortunately none available as of yet.

I replaced both my Panamera and my wife's Cayenne GTS' wiper blades with Bosche and have been very happy with them. They seem to be equal in quality.

Pssttt - could it be that Bosch also produce the OEM ones for Porsche For sure Porsche don't have their own production of wiper blades.

Either Bosch or my guess is that it could me Valeo.

You can easily replace them with blades from auto zone for $30. There is a DIY floating around there. Easy job.

if I check here:
https://m.buycarparts.co.uk/porsche/...ria%5B100%5D=V

first Bosch p/n 3397004592 is 600mm, but there is written that only for driver's side... mistake ???

second Bosch p/n 3397014116 lengths are 650mm and 475mm and mounting type is clamped when in reality is hook fixing ....

on my car I've measured

540mm passenger's and 610mm driver's side ....

what a mess ......

I've been using Bosch generic 21 and 24in ones on my 2013 S for years now. They are easy to source and inexpensive. If you don't care about the "style", they do the job of clearing water of the windshield just fine. Sometimes simple is good enough.

Maybe I'm the oddball, but I figure on a $100k+ car, I should be able to afford the OEM wipers.

'saeyedoc' - I fully agree with you, but i would like to avoid OEM style wipers from year '12 , I think they are the same ones like on photo from 'Victory007' , can't see properly if these are p/n 97062890100:
https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...t/97062890100/

The ones I have now 'banana' type are from "Heyner" - looks like proper German brand... (photo attached)
https://heyner.co.uk/about-us/
when I bought them I even wouldn't have time to wait two weeks for OEM ones because long traveling was waiting in two days time...
so, in any case now I would like to fit this type from Bosch like p/n 3397004592

https://www.ebay.it/itm/SPAZZOLA-TER...-/182741306100

but they are only one length 600mm (23,6inch)
and
as per 'Victory007' comment: Bosch generic are 21in(533,4mm) and 24in(609,6mm) .. basically the same lengths like the ones I'm using now!

so comparing with the one 'banana' type I do have on driver's side 610mm which starts wobbling at speed 240-245 km/h I'm completely lost whats is wrong, or just I have to be realistic and admit that 'banana' type wipers are not good for high speeds ???
