Are people really getting these deals on 2014 PTT

I am trying to buy a 2014 PTT, and it's been difficult to get these 18%-22% deals I see mentioned here.

The best I have gotten so far is 14% on a light option car. My main requirements are black interior, prem pack plus, with any exterior color except brown/tan/blue.

I am in the nj/NYC/pa area and would prefer a local deal. I am thinking it may best I get a 2015 GTS, because I can get a decent discount, just picked up my 2015 991 GT3 on Friday, but they don't have any PTTs.

If you know a dealer, feel free to send a pm.

Thanks!

Judging from when I was looking at Porsches, if not that specific car, that's a good area to get a deal.

For example, quick search on Auto Trader shows that Paul Miller Porsche in NJ has a Turbo that fits your requirements listed for $137k on a MSRP $168k car, which is 20% off. Presumably you can shave a little more off that asking price. It's listed as a demo with 1,600 miles on it, but I wouldn't let that scare me you off.

I was not able to get near 20%. I tried three dealers and not much. Even with the number of cars -no big discount. Then I found a used MY14 with 8000 miles. It is a PTT Executive and got almost 35% but that is a used car. It is also an Executive but my wife loves it so we got it.

I got 16% on mine. And...PM sent on a GTS. note: porsche is offering factory money to unload cayenne and panny turbos. It's finding the right options that's tough.

I think the dealers want to keep that money. There are several PTTs out there especially black on black that hey just don't seem to want to sell. I did not want black on black and got congac/cedar but I would think they would want to get rid of the black on black ones.

I was finding big discounts (18-22%) at two dealers, that had the PTTS I wanted. I bought from Porsche of downtown LA, from Ezekiel. They have some PTTs also. I also found good deals at Park Place Motors, from Eric. They still have the PTTS I was thinking about buying from them (18% or so off). They tried to push me into the deal, as they told me that another dealer wanted to dealer trade it but I could still have it if I took it right at that time. So I would first try Ezekiel, tell him to give you the same deal he gave the fellow from Michigan. They even transported it for free. Good luck. Let me know how it turns out. By the way , the PTTS is a blast!!

What is a 4S Exclusive, and how does one reach a sticker of $143K?

I'm 95% sure he meant "executive," the stretched model.

$143k seemed high, but when I searched on Car Gurus, the very first car that came up had a sticker price of $143k exactly in Warrick, RI. The option list was extensive, but not ridiculous; LED headlights, 20" wheels, keyless entry, Adaptive Cruise Control, Sport Chrono, Surround View, Lane Change Assist, aluminum interior trim. Some cars had a higher list price.

Oh, I didn't know they offered the Executive in non-Turbo. Sort of a weird model, then I guess.

I see that one has the Option Code 690 for Sat Radio, like mine did. I tend to think that's how one gets the Sat Radio without ordering the Bose system. But none of the Porsche marketing materials lays that out clearly.

EDIT: But don't I see Bose logos on the speaker grills???

That is a healthy sticker for a car like that. ~25% off seems appropriate.

FastMD- the numbers are real. Maybe you should try calling around the S. Cal markets? They are wheeling and dealing right now.
