Newbie with a small problem!!

Hi guys

Great forum

Just got myself a 2011 panny turbo!!

Had it about a month now and over the moon with it.

A different drive from my previous mapped RS6...but dynamically sooo much better.

Anyway a small problem has come up today...

It won't let me activate sport mode or sport plus mode?...saying "not available" in display?

No warning lights on dash and car drives fine just can't activate either mode?

Any one had this before? And/or know what it could be?

Thanks in advance

Chris

Maybe your suspension is left in "shop" mode. Its where you hold suspension button for 10 sec so you can lift the car. Its a big maybe. I doubt it but try it. Maybe the turned off suspension is not allowing the shocks to drop and disabling sport. Maybe.

I would suggest disconnecting the battery and waiting about 10 minutes before re-connecting so the computer can reboot. Once done see if that fixes things. I have a truck that once in a while, certain functions stops working. Unplug the batteries, wait, plug back in and all works fine again.

Ok guys thanks

Anything I need to know about disconnecting and reconnecting the battery?

Is it as simple as that?....won't need any kind of reprogramming etc?

Negative to disconnect first?...in trunk?

Leave for a few mins then reconnect?

Of course if this works il still book her in for a new battery?

Yes, negative always first off and last on. The owner's manual will also contain information about procedure for changing battery, just skip the actual swap part. Yes leave disconnected for a few minutes, helps to try and and start while disconnected. Any residual charge will disappear quickly.

Hope that helps.
