I'm looking at custom ordering a Panamera GTS soon. I've always been a fan of cognac interiors and separately of silver exteriors. I recently saw this GTS on the lot with rhodium silver and a cognac interior. I was surprised with how well they complemented each other...even though I'm sure others would disagree. Now I'm feeling more comfortable with combining the two colors, but if so now I'm thinking that GT Silver would be a better silver choice since it has tones that would match the cognac better than the rhodium. I just haven't seen a Panamera GTS in GT Silver with cognac interior and would be ordering it sight unseen. I know it's all a matter of opinion and this will be my first Porsche. Thoughts?
The GT silver looks SUPER nice. You should however be aware that if you later needs to have something repainted it is VERY difficult to match with the rest of the car.
Not sure color combo but I do love the cognac. My wife's PTT is cognac/cedar and my C4S is espresso/cognac. Just not sure how it would look with the silver. You will love the natural leather for sure. Don't forget to think about deviated stitching before ordering.
We have Cognac/Cedar. With that combo, you get the darker color on the steering wheel, which seems like a good idea to me. This is on a Carbon grey PSeH.
I greatly prefer the GT silver versus Rhodium(independent of interior color). I think the GT has great depth, but it perhaps is a bit cool for the cognac. Rhodium is a bit dull but has a warmer tone to it.
But yeah, it's all a matter of opinion and perception.
Here is mine with hi res photos from where I bought it, Gt Silver with cognac it's a turbo not a Gts. Regarding the Gt Silver I had a Nissan Gtr in super Silver and that is tough to match, Gt Silver is not of that caliber regarding complexity to match. I love the combo!
it is a beautiful combo - silver on tan's look so good imo. the Rodium has a little of that old Polar silver look imo and would not look as good with the cognac. the GT has a linen greyish look - had it on my Boxster - good luck.

I ordered my TTS in Rhodium with cognac espresso interior. Not great photos, but combination gets a lot of complements. No question about opinions favoring GT Silver on forums. It is a deeper color for certain than Rhodium. Don't know what interior configuration is in cognac on a Panamera, but assume that it is not paired with espresso, as in the TTS. Got Rhodium because it is a classic German racing color and cognac/espresso interior because it not only works, but is very unusual in the US, although more popular in Europe. Note that there is deviating carpet in espresso, as the stock combination has cognac, which is a bit harder to keep looking good.
Bottom line on OP's question is that IMO Rhodium/cognac on the GTS would look very good, if uncommon. I should say that the GTS interior for the Panamera is stunning and sets it apart from all other Pan models. I would go for Rhodium with the GTS interior with Carmine red and CF option, also on illuminated sills. The 18 way Alcantera seats in the Pan are exceptional and reason enough to get the GTS interior, IMO.
Hello everyone...thanks much for your input. I apologize for the delayed response after your replies. So, I pulled the trigger and ordered a new GTS, similar to the one in the original post photo but with GT Silver. I also added sport side skirts. The car is being built at the moment--will hopefully arrive by April.

Do you think the goes in the US as well, or is that just your experience in Denmark? Thanks!

Great build! It will be a beautiful car. Share pics when it arrives. Congrats on risking it and not going with boring silver/black combo...
