Yes you can buy and add it. The keyless option is a dummy key which always stay in the ignition chamber and receives signal from the original key in you pocket . When you approach the car the doors automaticly open and inside the car you just move the dummy key.

I am not sure it is as easy as you might think. The enter and drive system if I am not mistaken starts with the door handles which are not the same as the regular handles and they have sensors in them that read the key. It probably can be done but it will not be easy and not cheap.

Not likely to be an easy add on. Door handles, several antennas, the control module and programming would be required.

you will need to have a parts guy willing to track down every part you are going to need for the system which in my guess is probably a lot because the are controls for the doors the steering wheel the seats etc. Then the labor I have no idea whether the wiring needed will be there if not well. The first step should be contacted a dealer about what parts you need, though my guess is 5-10K if it needs wiring.

Unfortunately porschecayenne92 is incorrect. Entry and Drive cannot be retrofitted. When I mean "cannot" I mean cannot for a reasonable price. There is a lot of electrical components that is different and coding is unique too. I can only wildly guess it could be $3K or more (ignition computer, ignition switch, all 4 door handles, additional trunk button, proximity sensors, wiring, etc.) Now suncoast does offer the updated key fob plug but this is simply a piece of plastic that costs 50 cents to produce. It has not Entry and Drive circuits or wiring inside. Buying the 'plug' will not add Entry and Drive to a car.

Trade it for another one!!

PORSCHE entry and drive is really, really nice . Once you have it on your car you miss when you don't have it on other cars.
It's nice to have on my P4s,
And actually just finally pulled the trigger on a 997 to have as my second car, (since after two yearsI I missed the sports car when I opted for a panny to replace the 997.)
Of course no Porsche entry and drive. Boo friketty hoo. Can't afford to drop another $ 80 K on a new 991 w/keyless .... Been there, done that on a 996 and 997
