I am going crazy.
2011 PTT
Iphone 6
Usb cable plugged in.
I can get the music app to play fine by hitting ipod in source.
I can advance the track by clicking the advance arrow on the phone.
This is the part driving me crazy..... If inchange the steering wheel settings to advance track/station nothing happens on the phone. The display shows a change in the track names but the music remains on the song that was playing.
One day i tried it after doing something and it started to work out of nowhere. Now, nothing again.
Can someone please explain what i am doing wrong?!

I have a 2010 and a 6plus and this is what I do. I bought a usb Bluetooth device (about $10 -15K on Amazon) and I paired the iphone with the usb Bluetooth and I now stream either Pandora or the music stored on the phone. You will only see Aux on your screen and you cannot advance using the steering wheel controls but it was the only way I could get it to work the way I wanted.

 

There is a separate bluetooth audio connection which DOES respond to the multifunction key but i am trying to use the better quality audio connection through USB. THIS one does not respond to the track advance key.
Thank you for posting though. The blue tooth is a useful alternative , just not quite what i was hoping for.
Maybe the right question is Are any of you able to advance tracks using the steering wheel key when directly hooked up through usb, not BTAudio?

 

I used that when I had an ipod but gave that up and I now use it for the Bluetooth USB adapter. I cannot stream audio with the iphone 6 through the car any other way. Your car is a year newer perhaps you can.

I have no problem streaming BT music from my iPhone 6+ to my 2011 Panamera 4. But I just leave an USB stick plugged in to play music. The only time I take out the USB stick is when I need to add songs to it.

 

Well, somehow seems to be working now. No idea what i did different. This quirky panny operating system. Like dealing with a windows computer!

 

Always something! When i first got it and set the time and temp to show up on the bottom line in the control pod panel it would be there with the small nav map in the cluster. Now it disappeared from the map but shows on every other screen in that cluster window....what gives?

 

I used to be able to play pandora through bluetooth and now it doesnt work anymore... somehow the AUX with bluetooth logo just disappeared from the source section..it just shows AUX without the bluetooth logo


anyone else facing this same issue?
