Moving up from the panamera turbo??
Hey guys, just joined the group and stumbled on this post. I just sold my 2014 E63s and picked up a PTT - since there were some questions, thought I might share my experience. The E63s is fast w/o lag, brakes well and handles quite well; very manageable w/o traction control (prior AMGs were horrible) - quite driftable (making up words). Where it fails in comparison to the PTT is in the ride quality, noise, harshness and vibration. The PTT wins hands down. I don't know what took me so long to test drive one, but I think I'm in love. Told my wife yesterday that I'm fairly certain I found the perfect car for my needs.
There are a lot of body kits out there for these cars. How they look is a matter of taste and that will be up to yours to decide which one is best. I had the sport design kit put on my 4S, but you have a turbo so that wont work for you. I am sure some vendors on here can chime in and help out with what kits are the best made. I have had good and bad experiences over the years with fitting aftermarket body parts on cars. The cab in the photo has quite a few parts that were made for it (some were offered by vendors after they were made for the car), and it took a few fittings to get them right. I suggest going with a kit that has a track record, and make sure you have a good body shop in your area to do the work.
I am a few months or a year away from the same decision. I keep saying that I will decide in February of 2016 or 2017 on what I want to do and I thought I would be tired of my PTT by now. But, I just love this car. The only other comparable sedan to me would be the RS7.
I agree with others to mod up your PTT or hang on to it and pick up something vintage that meets your needs. A 993 or 996 turbo would be a great choice.
I should add that I am leaning toward just adding another car. The PTT is a truly perfect car for me when I have the family loaded up with me. I am thinking I add a 15 Targa GTS, for when it is just me and I keep the PTT. Of course, my wife disagrees with this.

I have and am again going through the same thing. In 2011 I had a PTT, it was fast but it wasn't as visceral as I wanted. I started looking at an RS7 and E63 amgs. Got the E63 amgs and sold it with 150 miles on it. I hated it. Fit and finish wasn't nearly as nice as the PTT. I went back to a CTT ( I have had 6 ) then I got a 2014 PTTS. It seems like a whole different car compared to my 2011 PTT. Much more visceral. I really enjoy it but this summer I bought an Aston Martin Vantage V12S. Now this thing is raw FUN. So it has made me wonder if I want a V12 as my daily driver--Ferrari FF. This is where I am at. I test drove it this weekend. Was it more fun then my PTTS? I can't say that but it was beautiful inside and different then a Porsche. The pre-owned ones have come down in price nicely and I can get one for the cost of a PTTS. Maybe I too have Aspergers ?

techart's product are also nice.
In terms of wrap, I had a custom black chrome coated with matte finish. The result is a satin liquid dark silver look, gets compliment everywhere I go. Not too flashy but certainly very unique and slick.
