curb, You're going to find out as a Panamera owner that there is little DIY info out there. Insane is the only source I've found. I'm a 2014 owner and have been searching for 2 years and found very little. Most guys that want a reset tool buy the durametric but I bought the iCarSoft and it works great. Happy wrenching !!

You're spot on regarding little for the DIY guys, guess we'll have to add to the library. I attribute the lack of DIY to the fact that the target audience on the Panny's just take them to the dealer for any work. I try to limit my exposure to dealer prices when possible.

BTW, how do you like the iCarSoft?

I like the iCar tool. Was swayed to this tool because it's a hand held device and no laptop required. The oil change reset was very easy. Plug it in. Follow the menu and you are done.

I had my oil light reseted with random AUTEL scanner from my BMW mechanic. It wasnt the basic scanner but it worked. NO problem with interim inspection light as well.
