Every time I built one online the 4s came out to be more than the GTS LOL.

Nice looking piece! As an aside, I've driven a 2013 and 2014 GTS, and I thought the 2014 was just a tick quicker.

'16 vs '13 PGTS

I have had my '16 PGTS for a couple of weeks and it may be a tick faster than my '13, but otherwise is similar dynamically. Auto start/stop function cannot be disabled except manually each time you start the engine. Except initially when the auto stop/start function engaged was it annoying. Got used to it so it is not so intrusive and actually works well. Not sure if it saves much gas unless perhaps one is in a lot of stop and go traffic.

Funs it interesting that you are a TTS owner and you didn't spring for a turbo sin the panamera unless you were looking for a different feel and sound. I love the NA just would like to get your perspective.

Love my 957 GTS and won't sell but I thought about adding a panamera turbo s to get into the turbo game and seems right in that platform?

I sold the 991 TTS and am on the list for the 991.2 GT3. After driving the 991 GT3 at Barber Motor Sports Park in Nov, it was clear to me that it is more engaging than the TTS, which is certainly faster, but I do not race so the speed and turbo surge even on the highway falls a bit short. Make no mistake, the 991 TTS is a phenomenal track and touring car that can be driven year round in New England, but after numerous teleporting episodes on the highway and a few launch control starts, the thrill just is not there for me anymore. Had lots of HPDE sessions with my TTS and am sure that the TTS folks on track will turn faster times than the 991.2 GT3, but I do not care. Got my '13 PGTS a few months after getting the '15 TTS in 2014 and found the PGTS more engaging than the turbo. FWIW, the Porsche instructors at PSDS favor the PGTS over the PTT/S. On track the PGTS is impressive, if not as fast on the straights. The sound of the PGTS and GT3 is much better than that of the TTS IMO. No complaints about power delivery of the TTS at all. It is linear like the NA engines. I suppose that if I lived in Germany and used the Autobahn, I would have kept the TTS, but here one cannot come close to 6 or 7/10 with it.

Glad we are on the same wave length. I'm a GTS GT car owner through and through . Plus 5 on the Germany vs Us. I find the gts faster at all speeds vs only triple speeds in the TT or TTS.

Be happy to have both but agreed on the experience and the NA cars have soul! Not sure if we are int the minority. I plan to buy all the specialty NA cars I used to own. They are fun and should maintain value

I feel the Panny GTS and 991 GTS are on the same emotive wavelength. My PTT was fun but just a tad bit on the cruiser side.

I couldn't agree more... The two cars were my top contenders. Both are simply amazing! At the end, the Panny GTS won, since it has identical performance numbers, bit more refined/quiet, a truly amazing exhaust note and 2 more comfortable seats. At the end, with a 2nd kid on the way, I could use the bigger trunk. However, my 2nd Porsche will be either a 997.2 GTS or 991.1 GTS. Looking forward to the day when in my garage, I'll have two of the great NA GTS Porsches.

don't know what you did here but one reason to look at new is that you really should put PDCC on the car and pretty much the only way is via order as few used ones got it.

My $75k budget is probably out the window given the fun I had and now I have to "justify" the extra costs here or I will regret it forever I fear.

With all of that said, is there any difference between a 2013 model and 2014 GTS? I was really focused on the 2014 4S or S but may have to buy a 2013 GTS with my budget (+) and am worried it is "old". With a CPO that would take me to 2019 so that gives me some confidence. Is this model year concern logical? Any additional info or advice here would be appreciated.

I will be happy to join this extended Porsche family soon...will post pictures when I do.

Regards,

Dave

I will admit pdcc is a cool feature, it was a must have when I was shopping for cayenne GTS at end of day I found car with many more options I wanted and some I learned I wanted so I got it. It helps make cornering very flat and some say there is a more electronic and artificial feel. Not a ton but you can sense it. For me to was unreal feature set but I wouldn't have stopped my purchase of every other box is checked, it was pricey and rare option.

Not sure how it compares to 991 pdcc

On the Panamera, PDCC option includes PTV Plus (torque vectoring). It helps the car rotate through tight turns.
