Well, I took a test drive in a 2015 GTS today in Rocklin, Ca. Man, did I love this car (MSRP $120k). Originally I was looking at a 2014 4S or S Panamera but now I am really conflicted as I had the best test drive experience of my life this morning. My $75k budget is probably out the window given the fun I had and now I have to "justify" the extra costs here or I will regret it forever I fear.
With all of that said, is there any difference between a 2013 model and 2014 GTS? I was really focused on the 2014 4S or S but may have to buy a 2013 GTS with my budget (+) and am worried it is "old". With a CPO that would take me to 2019 so that gives me some confidence. Is this model year concern logical? Any additional info or advice here would be appreciated.
I will be happy to join this extended Porsche family soon...will post pictures when I do.
The exterior body was changed for the 2014 model year. Engine/PDK/Exhaust were unchanged. Performance and sound are identical. I have a 2015 GTS and my brother has a 2013 GTS. I cannot tell any difference in drivability or sound. If you have to have the newer body style then look for a pre-owned 2014.
AFAIK, 2014 was just a facelift of the Panamera body - mostly the headlights and rear bumper. I think the split rear wing also increased in width. I have a 2013 and actually prefer the wavy headlight look of the 10-13 body style.
Some models did change powertrains, namely the S/4S went from the 4.8L V8 to a 3.0L V6 Turbo. The stated horsepower of the 2014 GTS went to 440 vs the 2013's 430, but I was told by a salesperson that the engines are identical and there was nothing done to bump up the output.

I wouldn't be concerned with 13 vs, 14 and I would DEFINITELY go after the GTS because you most likely regret it later since you have already experienced how wonderful it is.

Agree 100 percent. The driver's car of the Panamaera line
On 2013 vs. 2014, it kinda depends on which body style you like best. They both have the V8 power kit, enhanced intake, AWD, and sporty tweaks to the PDK. 2013 is probably the financial choice.
I bought a 2015 Panamera GTS. I originally looked at a 4S but after driving the V8 GTS I was sold on it. The cost difference was minimal compared to the 4S optioned up pretty well. Also the GTS comes with larger brakes that can not be ordered with the 4S.
A few body/fascia changes and 10 more hp for 2014-15 PGTS's, but aside from us Porsche nuts nobody would likely notice. Don't want to start a war over 10 hp, but one review I read a while ago actually had the 2013 a bit faster in acceleration than the 2014. Makes little difference to me because my PGTS is the sweetest car for DD I can imagine. Have had one on the track and it is amazing. Can't go Wrong with CPO'd 2013 IMO. And this from a 991 TTS owner.
I actually ordered a Panamera GTS about 18 months ago- eventually went to a 991 GTS but yes, the Panny GTS is the one to get! Pure driving enjoyment.
OT, but the CGTS is very impressive on track. Drove one for a session at Barber back to back with a GT4 and no contest. The CGTS was more fun and to me easier to drive fast.

I read a similar review, which said the 2013 is half a second faster.
