Aftermarket car covers

Im looking into getting an outdoor car cover and was looking at all the "universal" covers out there, there are quite a lot to choose from..I was just wondering if anyone has had any luck with an aftermarket "universal" car cover for their panamera as I have never bought one before.

I got the Porsche cover . If you look online I got the Porsche cover for $217 . I am sure that others are as good or better. I just liked the Porsche logo on the front of it .

Yea, Ive seen those..whered you find the outdoor for 217? Ive only found around the 270 range.

The generic route is too complicated with sooooo many different options. I want to fit properly nice and snug is my number 1. I dont feel Ill get that with a "universal" product.

I just made up my mind and will go OEM. I wanted to save some $ but I dont think its much of a difference in price. Knowing the Porsche cover is going to be the best fit.

I wouldn't even get a car cover, I really don't think its worth the effort.

Well my problem is not having a garage. During the warmer months / summer I primarily ride motorcycles, leaving my Porsche sitting and baking in the sun for days at a time. I dont know if I would say that keeping it covered for about 300 bucks from the enviromental elements would not be worth the effort.
I have decided to go with the OEM Porsche cover.

I think it's worth it. I don't drive my car everyday. I find the cover to be a worthwhile thing to use. I actually like the fact that it keeps my car clean.

I very rarely garage my cars. My garage door opener doesn't really work anymore, or i'm just not at a house that has a garage (some nights are later than others if you know what I mean ) Have you looked into Ceramic Pro coating? I've been looking into it. Seams like its the best idea. I cant picture having a car cover and putting it on and off every time I want to use it....

Just went out for a bit and I come back to my neighbor putting a car cover on his car that's in the street. I had to laugh a little.

my main concern with a cover is that, if your car isn't perfectly clean, any slight movement between the cover and car (breeze/etc.) will rub the dirt into the paint and cause scratches. FWIW

I have the Noah custom fit that was made for the Panamera, it does not move and it fits very well. I have the BMW future car cover for my 650 coupe and that is probably the best car cover I have ever seen fits like a second skin. I have covers for all my cars since some of them sit during different times of the year when they are not used.
