The write-up on the diesel sounds great! Too bad it won't come to the US. The article did sound like an advertisement though - I suspect that the magazine has to sound positive in order to get invited to these things.
Not much was shared that we already didn't know. They did note that the newly designed interior wasn't as intuitive as the current 'button' paradigm, but I suspect that once you get used to the glass, it will be fine.
I'm also very curious to see/hear about the rear seat - is it smaller or more confined without the hump or did Porsche manage to figure out how to stretch/design the car to retain the headroom?
IMO, the Panamera was ahead of its time when introduced, especially from a driving dynamics perspective - many other models are still catching up. This next generation may not advance the car mechanically (only modest power gains and some other handling options), but it may introduce enough technology to at least 'keep up with the Jones'.

With the lower rear seating position to accommodate headroom and roofline, it will be interesting how it affects ingress and egress. A lower seat presents a problem for adults with knee or hip problems.

What's funny is I'm reading so many conflicting reports of the engines that will be available. Even the four journalists that went to the same event and reported which I mentioned above say it a bit differently. Some say "all engines will be new and turbocharged", others say the 3.6 V6 will live on as the base engine, and then I got a Motor Trend that says the 3.6 V6 & 4.8 V8 will both live on.
I guess we have to wait - I think Car & Driver said the official reveal is June 28th?
