Yea!!!

I love the look of the new one but the back hasn't grown on me. What's not sitting well with me is that new black line strip that connects both tail lights with "PORSCHE" written on it. I feel like it makes the car look 'cheap' Reminds me of the Chevy Volt.

Hmm. There is nothing in the new Panamera that would make me buy it over the old Panamera. It looks the same, has roughly the same engines. Porsche are trying to do what they did with the 911 for years, virtually just facelift it for 50 years. I dont think that that works in this segment. Led matrix lights and night vision, thats about it. Taken from Audi who have had it for years. Then there is the Buzz Lightyear wing...I bought the first Panny Turbo because of the wing, I dont like this one. Atleast this time people wont be driving around with that ridiculous wing deployed all the time.

I like it. Not my favorite Porsche car but I can see it as a potential replacement for my Macan.

I really love the new shape. More sculpted and masculine in the rear.

On the new Microsite, they offer a great slider showing the new over the old. Here are the images:

The video of the 2017 PTT on the Nurburgring is the best. Wonderful time.

I think Porsche has nailed the new design when current owners say, "I like the old style better," and prospective buyers say, "The new design is a vast improvement." Gotta be all smiles at Porsche.

I really like the new design. What I don't like (and this is not specific to Porsche) are the extra gears. Eight gears seems like too much. I think the current 7 gears is borderline too much. I've had 8-gear cars before and it seems like the car is always hunting for the lowest gear (in auto mode).

What transmission was that (the 8-speed you are referring to)? Sounds like a programming/software issue rather than a factor of too many gears, but lots of things could play into that.

I have an 8-speed ZF in my 335i and you can't even tell it is shifting it is so smooth; no perception of hunting. It's the ubiquitous transmission in new cars and hard to justify putting anything else in a car these days (thought I imagine the 8-speed PDK will be a step above!).

Interesting concern. I must admit that I usually don't have any idea what gear my PGTS is in, the PDK shifts without me noticing and even when trying, I can't improve the gear selection in manual over PDK

Call me crazy but I like both designs. I saw a 2013 white PTT last week at a car lot, looked fantastic. In fact, right now, there are very lightly used PTT's, 2013-2014 model years, going for $100-110k, which to me is a fantastic price for what you get. And Certified!
