On the market...

I think originally the PDK was set for 100k, and I thought they had since changed that to 60k, for the price of the fluid and time it is worth the piece of mind, at least to me. (clutch plates and gears share the fluid)
I'll probably hit 60k next year and be doing this as well

Oh for some reason I thought the PDK fluid was due at the 60K mile service. No? I'll have to look at my booklet. I would probably go ahead with that myself paying close attention to the temp and quantity used and with factory fluid regardless what silly number they charge for it.
Nice Camaro btw. My Panamera S shares garage space with 2 Camaro's (71 and 16 SS w/ the new 455hp LT1) and a Colorado truck.

Dang welp I guess I'll put aside some change and get the fluid. Do you guys know of a suitable replacement to the actual oem stuff that costs over $350 as quoted by my dealer tech rep? There's gotta be a suitable sup.
And thanks for the compliment, it belongs to my friend who's garage I was using. The thing is every bit of an 8sec car, with serious motor work, nitrous, all new suspension set for drag times etc. It's insane.
As far as my stable mates.. '01 Speedway White Z06 (1 of 352) and '15 Triumph Thruxton Ace Cafe (1 of 325). You may notice a color theme here haha

My 2013 manual says every 60K miles but no later than 4 years.
For plugs it says every 30K miles but no later than 4 years.
Which is interesting. Because Porsche decided to replace spark plugs and do a full 30K maintenance on my car at 24K miles and 5 years old when they certified it as a CPO car in 2018 when I bought it. But they did not elect to change the PDK fluid. My car has 32K miles currently and is 6 years old. I'm certainly not doing this before the CPO runs out in 2020. But since I don't drive the car much I may end up doing this at 45K miles which will be 8 years old. Still - I can't imagine the fluid degrades much from time like engine oil does. From use I can see it.

Nice - I bought a 2004 Z06 new - one of 4 Corvette's I've owned. But I prefer the 6th gen Camaro - it has every bit of the performance and is easier to live with driving on a regular basis - better ground clearance, better highway ride, easier to get in and out of (still no sedan tho), easier to park - less front overhang and doors not as long. Great every-day car - I actually try to drive it more than the Panamera or my truck.

I do like and trust Motul. But I'd be inclined to use the Porsche fluid in this case.
this is what Suncoast shows:

I think you need 9-10 quarts right?
Anyway - it's about the same price as the Motul and you know it's the correct fluid.

Nice find on the fluid, only a couple dollars for "official" stuf, not sure how much shipping would add to that.
should take a bit over 8 liters (there is a nice PDF created by HP41 with the process floating around here somewhere, if you can't fins it let me know and I'll send it to you)
