Normally, when the alarm is activated (locking the car with the fob or the door button), the alarm chirps twice. Occasionally, it chirps four (4) times. When that happens, if I unlock and relock, it usually returns to normal. There is no door, window, or trunk open. I cannot reproduce it on demand. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this and/or knows what the cause or cure is.

I've read the manual and don't see any reference to multiple chirps in the alarm section.

 

Turns out, the alarm horn (the one that chirps when you set the alarm) had a short. Just got it replaced by the dealer who noticed it then fixed it.
