PTTS both aluminum and plastic plenum as stock?

Hi!
My first post here, since I´m new to Porsche Panamera since just a couple of weeks back. Have a -15 PTTS with 3750miles on it right now. Great car, actually the best I have ever owned, and I have had a bunch of sportscars. Not the fastest but the most complete overall package in all aspects.

I have a question. Where reading lots of threads regarding "worth doing Plenum upgrade or not" and I recalled seeing pictures of PTTS that already had stock aluminium plenums. I Googled a little bit and I cant see to get any conclusion more than that no pre-facelift has it, but not all post-facelift either. Mine doesnt for example. Its just not the plenum but also the hoses/cables that attach to the aluminum one that the plastic dont have.

See pics.

A 2015 with plastic plenum:

Do anyone know why it differs and if there are any other changes?

Hi,
Congrats for your almost new PTTS.
This aluminium Y plenum and hoses are for those 2014+ PTT and PTTS equipped with Porsche Sport Exhaust. So I guess yours is not PSE equipped if I'm right.

Thanks!

Your correct no PSE

Seems like those aluminium ones are not interchangeable with the IPD Plenum then since there are no such hose connections on that.

I have a 2014 Turbo Executive with PSE from factory - mine is plastic.

I think IPD still works, they come with some kit to take those into account.

Sorry for asking you that but... Are you sure you have the PSE from factory as it doesn't appear on the window sticker ?
It seems you have the PSE button, but it could have been installed afterwards, as a Tequipment...

If you're asking me, it's on the window sticker and data card.
