DIY IPad Mini Mount

I made this out of an old steel bookend that I had. Works great! No visibility issues and no problems with vibration. What do you think???

Ease of access to basic apps... Pandora, Google Maps, Waze, etc. I only put the mount in place for trips out of town. It also works great as a dash cam, for taking pictures and videos during the drive.

Nice job. I mount mine in a similar way. A lil' friendly tip -- pick yourself up a AudioQuest DragonFly Red and run from the iPad to the aux port. It'll improve the sound of your system 10 fold.

nice work Striped91, did you have to trim off much on the part that inserts under the dash?

And does it just slide in and out w/o fasteners to secure it in place?
