That's some nice looking tint - I may give that a try - sure is cheap enough.

So curious why have both a Panamera and a M6GC? both 4 doors - seem to fit the same use case.

I keep wrestling with selling the Panamera to get into a 997 or Corvette since I don't even really need a sedan and I have a 4-door truck.
But my other two cars are Camaros - one old coupe and one new convertible - both have in excess of 450hp.... So I'm in no shortage of fast 2 doors...

It's a sickness - sounds like you got it too. HA!

I’ve always had a thing for four door “sport/super saloons” if u will, lol. These two now, and years ago a CLS AMG and Audi A7 simultaneously. Yes the M6 and GTS are similar, but they’re also different; awd vs rwd, NA motor vs TT. I was almost certain I’d be getting the coupe version of the M6, but after seeing the gran coupe in person, I quickly realized that it possessed a lot more road presence over the 2 door variant.

I’m not sure I’d dump the Panamera for a corvette..especially with already having two Camaros, but that’s something you’d have to decide for yourself. If you can find a clean 997, that may be a good move. Contrary to what I said above, I’ve had thoughts of going to a .1 GT3 RS next..the never ending cycle of car guy thoughts, huh? Ya, I’ve been diagnosed with the sickness as well!

yes - it's amazing my wife has put up with this all these years!! HA! The vette I was considering is a C6 Z06 with the LS7, but even that is way too similar to the Camaro's. Panamera adds class and long haul road trip perfection to the mix. 997 would be our road trip car as well. So many good choices. My last sedan was a E39 M5 in Imola red - had it for 6 years. Great cars - I owned two of them. I've had a pile of BMW's starting with a E36 M3 sedan, also tried the first CTSV sedan. So I've had a lot of these 4 door hot rod cars too - but always had at least one sports car in the mix too. GT3 are awesome, but the price point is crazy. The C8 looks interesting too.

Ahh...Feels good to be back with the anticipation of an exciting modification (for myself at least). Lowering links. While the GTS suspension allows for a decent drop, there's still about 1 - 1 1/2" of wheel gap that I'd like to eliminate. Few guys here have done it and it looks great. Install is scheduled for Thursday. I'll have some pics sometime this weekend weather permitting.

So yeah...Can't believe I waited all these years to actually do this, but man I'm super excited for the GTS's new stance! Literally perfect and truly flush IMO. I went with the "raked look" where the front is a tad bit lower than the rear. Front tire tucks slightly and the rear fender sits right at the top of the tire. Prior to installing the links, I could put my index finger above the rear tire and wiggle it around some. Now my finger does not fit at all (just to give an idea of the drop). When my shop first installed them, the rear was way too low - tire tucked low. So they did some readjusting and we finally got it right. Here are some photos they took at the shop. Car was filthy from the drive up so excuse that. Also, this is it in its lowest setting (suspension 2) which is usually how I drive.

Jeeeeez that looks so good! The funny thing is I got a message from someone on Instagram and they offered me a set of lowering links at a discounted price if I agreed to install and take plenty of pics. Me and RDR12 were talking about it because he got hit up by the same guy, and we both agreed that in the lowest setting with 21" (mine) & 22" (his) wheels it seems good enough. But after seeing yours ... Damn just that little bit extra really does make a difference.

Looks great man and I'm excited for you. I'm still unsure about a set for myself but these pics got me thinking haha.

Thanks man!! I literally felt the same way as you guys for a long time. But with it costing next to nothing, especially compared to swapping springs or coilovers like I'm use to, I figured why not? And to note, ride quality went unchanged. Now if you go super low, I'm sure it would be bouncy but no issues with my set up. And to top it off, factory suspension settings are still 100% operational..yeah..hate to be that guy but I'm gonna go on a limb and say you and @RDR142 wont regret it lol

Appreciate it, buddy! But yes - the shop was great. Very particular in making sure each side was perfectly even. They always do right by me, though. Very happy with my decision.

I guess you could just hit that guy up again and see if he's down to discount a set still?

I switched up on SUV's and I think it was only right to go with a GTS. I initially was set on a Jeep SRT but after looking into the Cayenne's, the SRT thought became a thing of the past. Obviously this isn't the Cayenne forum but I figured it would be cool to show that I love the Panamera GTS so much that I decided to get the bigger version as well. I'll probably start a little build/progress thread on the Cayenne side in the near future.
