Wanting to hear what other members oil consumption is like? 1l for every 1500km or so?

if you can share your panamera year and model and oil consumption for every L (from 4 bars to 1 bar on your display)

 

Certainly over 6000 miles. I change the oil yearly and it never gets to the bottom bar. '13 GTS.

 

Panamera Turbo 2010. 140,000 kms.
1l every 8,000 - 9000 kms.

 

it seems the oil consumption is more for me when im highway driving at a steady speed for a long time, does that make sense?

 

 

2015 Pana 4, 30K miles, no usage at all between 10K miles changes.

 

2012 P4, 22k miles no oil usage between annual 5k oil changes, not one bar difference. 3K of the mileage is 75 mph highway driving.

anything i should check for on the next oil change for possible causes of an oil leak? should i take the underpan out?

 

Yeah. You should definitely take the pants off,see if you have evidence of oil leak. Valve covers check is good. But yours may eat more oil too.

 

strange, as I get oil consumption when bypassing cars, I mean like on highway but with traffic

 

2010 4S V8 purchased with 38k miles. I change oil myself at 5,000 mile interval beginning with 40k. Car at 52k. Up to the 50k oil change, only needed 1 qt added in each 5,000 mile interval. However at 52k car reached min oil level, added 1qt. Hopefully this keeps and maintains average to 55k oil change.

 

2010 PTT w/ 45k miles on the clock, go thru ~1 quart every 5k miles. Mix of city, highway and very high spirited mountain driving at altitude

 

 

jrjunior how many miles on yours? has it gotten better or always been that way?

im thinking my vehicle never was driven hard, should i be doing that on the highway to seat the rings or is it too late with 35000 miles

 

On my 2014 4S it was 1 quart every 7K
