I need to replace my front axles and for some reason I can only find aftermarket GNK ones for 11-16, will those work on a 2010? I find it hard to believe Porsche would change the design after just one year of releasing the car.
looking at a pdf of the parts catalog it looks like they have different part numbers for -10, 11-13, 14-16 (970 349 038 02, 970 349 038 03, 970 349 038 04) and oddly enough they don't distinguish front from rear.

As soon as you look at yours, you will know which one you have. Early one is round, the other is not, at the junction to final drive.
2010:
Front shaft: 970 349 038 02
Pan head screw: 900 067 424 01 (expanding bolts, recommend replacement with new ones each time they are removed)
Plate: 1K0 407 357 B
2011-2013:
Front shaft: 970 349 038 03(expanding bolts, recommend replacement with new ones each time they are removed)
Pan head screw: N 910 059 03
