Exhaust upgrade Panamera V6: deleting muffler or resonator?

Hi everyone
i do have a Panamera 4 2013 model which is V6. It . Very quiet. I like to have some sound but I don’t want to go with OEM sport exhaust. It is supper expensive. I am just thinking to change the tail pipe to the OEM sport one for the look.
And for the sound i heard some people saying delete The resonator and put X pipe. And some other sayings keep the resonator and delet the mufflers. I am not Looking for a crazy loud sound just a little more is enough. At the same time I don’t want to cause anybody problem for the engine.
Has anyone did this without repcing with the whole new oem or aftermarket exhaust system?

Thanks

I did the muffler delete and have no issues going over 100 miles. Not real loud and has a nice growl on start up and when you get on it. I haven't heard one with the X pipe but for the price it was a nice lil mode.

Muffler delete may be the best option as removing the resonator may cause unwanted drone while cruising.

Thanks for the input. I may go with muffler delete then.
If anyone else with P V6 also has some experience I appreciate sharing.
Thanks

Also some people are talking about opening the valves permanently on Turbo model. Can we do this on V6 model too?
Thanks

If you have vacuum lines in the back by the mufflers before the exhaust tips all you have to do is disconnect one side and the valves stay open. The sound changes to deeper

I never looked at these mufflers but on a 911 I did whats called a GUNDOHACK, search it on this forum. Basically a cut and weld into the OEM mufflers which make it permanent Porsche sport exhaust mode. It sounded perfect and was in expensive. No you can t just open values the non turbo muffler don t have thus the welding mod.

I also believe the vacuum lines spoken above above will only be present on a car with the sport exhaust option (or maybe turbo car).

IF the muffler are like the 911s and the gundo works then it will sound exactly like the oem sport exhaust. I loved it. Mufflers come out, cut and weld a piece of 2 inch piping in directed area and put back on. Take a look at the posts on that and see if your muffler can accept the same mod. Really just the cost of a muffler shop doing a little cut and weld.

I looked at it. Panamera and 911 mufflers are not alike at all. So I don’t know if they can do the Fister D Mod on it.
But I found some Panamera turbo mufflers on eBay. Do you think can we just swap the turbo muffler with mine (P 4) and leave valve open ( no Vacum line in my car anyway). It should make it permanent open valves.
any input?

I am kind of tempted to try the turbo muffler on my P V6 , but I don’t even know if going to work. I think even the tube are bigger in turbo but muffler shops prohave adaptor to fix this. I am afraid I may just throw away my money..

anyone has has any knowledge about this?
