bird poop! was parked under a billboard. it's bad this time of year. can't wait for them to fly back north jk lol i would absolutely die
That white stuff is my life trying to maintain a black car. Luckily it hasn't been bad lately since the pollen has relaxed.
I need help. Oh my, the bird poop dropped in my black Pana last saturday or sunday, I found it down about late afternoon when i planned to wash my car. The bird poop is big as size of my palm, left a big mark on the driver fender. How do you remove it? it goes through the clear coat due to warm weather and soaked in many hours.
Here what I did, I polish the poop area by hand with wet sandpaper 8000, and 12000. wax it with dual action machine, multiple times. I still see a light mark with really focus . SAD !!!
Any suggestions so we all learn from it?
Thanks

as far as your situation with bird droppings etching that deep into paint, I'm not sure of a solution other than what you've done so far. Since you've already sanded and it's still slightly visible, only other thought would be a correcting compound followed by a finishing polish but may be difficult for 100% result.
