That is SUPER good info, unfortunately though my wrinkles reach a little too far out. I did mine almost the exact same way as the guy in the first video, so put it down to lack of technique in not finishing it correctly. I did go out to the car just to see if that pinstriping would work though 😂
So I will probably leave it to the end to ensure I have enough film for the rest, then redo it with the template plan.
Oh, and I ordered a bunch 😂 6ft x 100ft vinyl. I probably have enough carbon to wrap the roof carbon instead of blue if worse comes to worst.
Ok, so Im done for now. Ended up ripping the front bumoer sheet in 2 places and it was the last piece of vinyl I had so ordering more and waiting for my car wrapping friend to help me fix a couple things, redo front bumper, do mirrors and handles and the rear bumper lip.
Ok so work is finished, had a professional wrap guy redo a lot of it just because I am a perfectionist and want it to last. Here is the finished product as far as the exterior goes. Tinted lights all around, techart real carbon, vvivid+ matte smurf blue wrap and avery satin grey mirrors and chrome delete to match the graphite wheels:
Yep and yep 😁 I actually think I did some areas better as I took more care but edge sealing and post heating seem to be the way to go. At least this way, I can repair/replace failing pieces!
