The wing changes angle above 100 Mph or above 56 Mph if Sport Plus is ON.

did some experimenting yesterday and sure enough rear spoiler does change angles. I basically was cruising down interstate at 70 with cruise on, wing auto deploy in normal position like always, then switched to sport plus mode and watched spoiler angle change in mirror. Definitely looks more aggressive just don't want to cruise in sport plus so that's where coding comes in to reprogram how and when spoiler deploys and adjusts angle.

So, time for an update!

I had another thread on here about adding the wing but to keep it all in one place, here's the new carbon ducktail fitted.

I just got done tinting the lights... tried a couple different films but the one I had most success with was VViVid as it has air channels to route bubbles and doesn't stick or activate the glue until you hit it with heat. I think it came out "ok" - few dust bunnies snuck underneath but Im happy.

And now I'm halfway through wrapping the diffuser in top grade dry carbon...

For what it's worth, anyone looking to tint their lights should avoid Lamin-x (I got mine through Suncoast). It was cut too small and was terrible to work with. Ended up throwing it all away.

I used the lighter shade of VViVid, it is easy to work with

Thanks guys. Yeh, I love the look of leaving the clear section alone, too. Was going to follow the other thread on here by sending it to a pro to have them tinted like factory but that's for down the line, I think. For now the film worked great.

Carbon wrap on diffuser done now, too 😊

Taking it to Pikes Peak Airstrip on Sunday for the 1/2 mile races, so let's see how it does 😊

Fastest standing half mile at 142.38mph. Now I've got my baseline, time to start some power mods

(2:16:50 against my buddy in his modded 911 Turbo on race fuel)

That's awesome, looks like fun! I was hoping you'd come close to the RS7 numbers though.

Yeh the 1/2 mile is weird - some cars I was expecting to do great were actually appauling and the ones I thought would be middle of the road absolutely destroyed others! There was Merc AMG with only downpipes and a tune that was almost breaking the 170mph (I think it was like 168?). Oh well. It's part of what made me drop the money on customizing a tune and doing one for race fuel too, in preparation for the new turbos and exhaust system later this year.

The 91oct tune wakes the car up entirely 😁 Better throttle response, more boost, much faster pickup. Yay!

Thanks buddy 😁 Looking forward to getting the wheels - I've got the tires, tpms, lug bolts, etc... no wheels 😂
