May as well start a build thread!

I think you may not have to spend the big $$$ for just a strut swap. I bet the VIN is the only update you needed.
Before you spend all that money, please try this with PIWIS first:
Diagnostics->Panamera
Scroll down
Rear Lid->Extended Identification->Vehicle identification number-> "enter your VIN in the box and click Write. (VIN is under windshield, inside door jam, on your Porsche Car Connect app on your phone, and also on PIWIS.)
Then go to Fault memory and clear all codes, and then go to Maintenance repairs on top and click calibration. Follow the screen and you are done. You may go to Drive links checks and look for abnormalities if still not working.
I hope that helps. I have done many retrofit's in my Panamera, so I am very experienced.

Hah yeh - I had too many years of trying to find tools that I gave in and got organized 😂
So - car is nearly done having the Renntech module installed. Routing the USB into the little lock box compartment behind the rear bumper in the trunk so ride height can be customized whenever I want.
I also now have a rear camera! It was just coding so that has been fixed - BIG win.
Unfortunately the coding still says my right liftgate strut motor is bad which is not true as it's brand new. So it has to be properly diagnosed to see if there is a break in wiring etc. Not going to do that today though!
Will post up pics shortly.

a backup camera is the one thing I really wished I had gotten, but on the plus side the sensors work very well.
That looks great, just don't for get to raise it when entering the parking lot or your driveway
I would expect that to be great on the highway

I have to give a shout out to Alex, Trace and Ethan at Prestige Imports in Lakewood, CO. Those guys really hooked me up and did a great custom install. They permanently fixed the module with a USB cord and routed it through the trunk into the little compartment so any time I want to adjust suspension, I now have quick access.

LouDA, I wish I am there so I can help. I could be wrong, but I think the coding says bad because the VIN was mismatched. When this happens, PIWIS uses the keyword IMPLAUSIBLE in it's diagnostics. If Porsche techs struggle too long, please print out what I wrote earlier and bring that with you to Porsche and tell the mechanic that a Stuttgart engineer asked him to look there in PIWIS just to verify if the VIN is a match. Once new VIN is written to strut, restart the car and it will read the updated VIN to establish two way comm with the BCM. I wish you are in Atlanta.

Next time I'm in ATL, I'll look you up for a beer 😊

Haha that's my temporary phone holder. Was actually thinking of getting the rennline mobile phone holder for the cayenne and making it fit. That one seems to fit in the stock bolts of the pcm unit.
But... it is a cute panda
Did you get the x pipe I sent?
