The control panel where the wires from this device connect are on the left side of the trunk after removing the panel enough to get your hands in. There are two connectors which you will pull off from the car and then connect to cables from this device and the device cable to the car. The first cable from the right has a slide lever which you move to the left and then pull the connector off and reverse when connecting. This unit from China has the exact same connectors when reinstalling. I was impressed on the build quality for only $69. Good luck.

in my case there were 3 star bolts which had to be removed:

if to be more precise: first connector from the right and second (middle) needs to be removed and interconnected with new module:

and carefully with the whole plastic cover when pulling it down, pay attention to wiring going to rear window heating element

Very good function. If i want close all windows i push 6 time on unlock button with driver door open
.......is there any way to program mirrors that they don't close when locking the car ?
I mean to leave as per OEM like it was before installing this module for trunk closing.

Mine arrived today! Ordered from AliExpress and came much quicker than I expected! I’ll install it in the next few weeks and hopefully everything goes smoothly. I’ll reach out to the group if I run into troubles. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for this @Marc13190! I’ll print off your tutorial and get my kids to review it and then explain to me. They are fully bilingual - the benefit of French immersion! Merci and greetings from Canada!

I installed the module tonight and it was pretty straightforward. Seems to worry well and it is nice to be able to close the rear hatch with the key fob! I also really like the auto fold of the driver and passenger rear view mirrors on lock! Thank you to all that contributed to this post!

During the install, the entire plastic panel trim piece came down. For the life of me, I could not get it back in place. In the end, I had to remove it (there are 2 additional T30 screws on the sides under the middle trim pieces). I’ve watched a few YouTube videos showing the removal process but can’t find anything showing the reinstall. Specifically, I can’t figure out how to get these plastic pieces to engage? The other metal panel clips won’t hold until these pieces key into place?

Can anyone help?

Thinking that maybe the “bent” plastic piece is actually supposed to be straight? I’ll check the FSM and the PET to see if I can see a diagram. Can anyone confirm this?
