Close your Panamera trunk from the remote and driver door button

Hey everyone I ordered a module off of Amazon which shipped from China that allows you to close your trunk on the Panamera from your factory remote and button inside the car. It was only $69 delivered and took 20 days from ordering to delivery. It showed up earlier today and took me about 30 minutes to install so if anyone is interested here is the link below and feel free to ping me for instructions on installation. FYI it ships in a box with no instructions. I love this new feature which should be standard anyways...thanks,

Ordered one. Thank you!

My buddy's 2016 had the ability to close from the fob. But I haven't see another.

Glad this post was useful to you guys....BTW this YouTube video is on how to install this device but it's not very clear etc. Also depending on the year of your car look at the buttons to close and close/lock the trunk. If you see that it is removable with two indents to put a tool/flat head then remove it and you'll find another star bolt which needs to be removed. It doesn't show this step in the video. The control panel where the wires from this device connect are on the left side of the trunk after removing the panel enough to get your hands in. There are two connectors which you will pull off from the car and then connect to cables from this device and the device cable to the car. The first cable from the right has a slide lever which you move to the left and then pull the connector off and reverse when connecting. This unit from China has the exact same connectors when reinstalling. I was impressed on the build quality for only $69. Good luck.

Over-the-air updates are one thing I LOVE about my Tesla. Maybe the Taycan has this ability/feature.

I sent an email to the person at this company I've been talking to and asked if they have a version which works with the 971's...I'll let you know. I'm sure I'll get a reply tomorrow morning as they are in China.

I installed it the same day it was delivered and it works perfectly every time. When you hit the remote button to close it pauses for 1 second and then closes.

The details in the ad says that it can also close the sunroof when it rains. Have you enabled yours to do that? Does it work well?

I haven't tried the sunroof close feature yet but I have had my windows open and locked the car and they all closed automatically. I have had ZERO issues with this upgrade and so glad i ordered this.
